Have a queue manager defined that is part of a MPG. There are no connection issues -- and that's the problem. Looking at the Queue Manager client connections in MQ Explorer, the DataPower is connecting via a user name that is not defined in the QM object. I went as far as putting in a completely bogus user name in the QM object and it shows as connecting as user mqm. The DataPower is connecting to a Queue Manager running on Solaris. Normally, if the userID is not defined in Solaris and part of a group that has the correct permissions set, you can not connect. Has anyone else seen this or have any ideas?
Configure SSL on the channel to authenticate the DP box and allow it to connect to that channel, and thus authenticate it to act in the role that the MCAUSER is authorized to provide.
This is not a DataPower specific issue. This is an MQ Client connection specific issue, and well discussed here.
