Hi,
We found the following errors in the error logs.
AMQ6119: An internal WebSphere MQ error has occurred (WinNT error 5 from
DosOpen.)
EXPLANATION:
MQ detected an unexpected error when calling the operating system. The MQ error
recording routine has been called.
ACTION:
Use the standard facilities supplied with your system to record the problem
identifier, and to save the generated output files. Contact your IBM support
center. Do not discard these files until the problem has been resolved.

The mq version info is as follows:

BuildType: IKAP - (Production)
I have tried cheking the permissions for the user and they are all set correctly ..tried to stop/start the queue manager but it did'nt help either.
Please could someone let me know what could be the reason for this error.

Try running MQ trace. The file name it is failing on will probably show up in the trace data. _________________ Glenn |

I'd also strongly suggest that you move to a supported version of the software. |

Thanks for your suggestions..
Yes i agree that moving to MQ6.0 or higher version would eliminate these type of errors...but would like to know what exactly would have caused this issue..
is it something OS related or MQ? _________________ Regards
