Is it true that only IBM has the tool to read the FFST report?. So if IBM request me to provide the "probe ID", where do I retrieve this "probe ID"?. |

View the .FDC file using a text editor and ye shall find Probe Id and about 30 other pieces of useful information inside a "box". _________________ Glenn |

One wonders (respectfully) how thou hast done troubleshooting thus far without knowledge of the FFST directory.
unix: /var/mqm/errors
Windows: \program files\ibm\webspheremq\errors
In the top box of the FFST file, you will see which MQ process was offended, the user ID, and (and gbaddeley said) much other useful information.
Sometimes if you google the probe ID, you will find a lot of useful information on your own.
Also, you should check for FDC files regularly. Each and every one deserves your attention! |

Did you go to the link above? I'd suggest starting with it. |

So this report is used to resolve issues of high priority?. As in resources and issues that only IBM can resolve. |

you can also type ffstsummary in errors directory to get a list of all fdc's and error cause
7th column is of probe id..
and no.. an MQ administrator also understand and can solve many problems which generate fdc _________________ Cheers |

You'd be surprised what you can find out by googling the probe id. |
