I was testing my MQ explorer (WMQ V6.0.2.2 on WINXP). On one PC , we chnage the startup of MQ explorer from "as a standalone application" to "In a Eclipse workbench" at end of day friday last week. We were able to start the explorer after that. After the week end, we got "An error has occurred. See log file c:\program " popup trying to start WMQ Explorer this morning. This is a shared PC, we have no idea if anyone has made any changes to it over the weekend.
We need some help on how to fix this
1. The error popup window comes up after the initial MQ Version 6 window. Any idea what log file it is referring to ""An error has occurred. See log file c:\program "
2. We suspect that someone has made some eclipse changes. Is there a way to switch the startup back to "as a standalone application" Without the eclipse workbench (GUI)? |

You can delete the default Explorer workspace. That should do it.
Or you can try strmqcfg -i followed by strmqcfg -c.
Not as likely to work, though.
The error file is likely in your MQ install directory. The MQ Explorer will throw FFSTs if it runs into errors. And if you're using the default install location, that's under C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ\. |
