I have a question relating to the MCA User ID Field. Up until recently we had this field defined with a value of 'nobody'. We have been functioning with this for quite some time with no problems, however this past week this changed. We went from seeing a message 'Put' in a second, to seeing a message take up to a minute. There is no difference in message size, and the application putting is the same. Is there some sort of 'outside' network change or (network) security change that could cause this? When the value was deleted, we went back to seeing almost immediate response time.
Thanks,
Travis |

Travis,
Can you give us some additional information? What release are you running? Which platforms? Did you upgrade this weekend? etc...
Thanks! _________________ Regards,

Let's see...
MQSeries Server version 5.2.1 CSD04
Platform: Windows 2000
MSCS Clustered servers (not that it is relevant as it didn't matter whether the queue manager was clustered or not) |
