Hello,

I think I am a bit lost here or having a blank day. How does one check if the channel initiator or command server is running on MQ version 7, running on AIX. Thanks, and apologies if this is a no brainer....

you mean aside from seeing if they do their jobs?

amqpcsea is the command server process.

I forget what the chinit process is, a little introspection won't hurt.

And v7 logs quite a number of startup messages about specific things - "the logger process has started" and etc.

I frequently have days like that...even more so now that the years are advancing!
