1)How many no of messages did the broker process per day,per hour, per minute....
2)How many number of web
service requests are processed by broker per day,hour,minute... |

either get a monitoring tool for getting the numbers..
at MQ level IIRC we have a support pac also
or else u can use database to store info about each message getting processed {PERFORMANCE} _________________ Cheers |

You should give accounting and statistics a string consideration. With WMB 6.1, there have introduced monitoring profiles. Thats another avenue you should consider. I don't think there is anything specific for Web Services (I do remember reading something like HTTP Nodes didn't support accounting and statistics - maybe that isn't true any more) |

Thats true using a monitoring tool we can achieve that...
But as MQ and Broker are powerful products and they themselves should have some options of viewing them particularly....Do you agreee with me.....
could you post the support pac name dont say that is IS02 because it is a nightmare for me to configure it...there is some mystery underlying it...alwas sorrounded with problems in configuring it |

I didn't say monitoring tools - I was talking about monitoring profiles. Its a new feature that comes with WMB 6.1 |

Don't (mis) use the monitoring facilities introduced in v6.1.0.2 for this. Use the stats & accounting facilities - they are very lightweight, and this is exactly what they were designed for.
Assuming that you take my advice and use stats & accounting, it might be worth your time to get IS02 working. It can generate some really neat graphs and charts from the data. |

Unfortunately we are still using WMB 6.0.0.3 and in sooner we will be migrating to v6.1 and make use of all the features provided by it...
Iam stuck at an error Missing JMS libraries in your system while installing IS02 support pac and made sure that i have executed the necessary queues which are listed in the MQSC script...Its still a mystery for me.... |
