You'll find it a lot easier just to create a new broker on the newer data source.
The broker system database isn't used for much these days. What's more important is your set of deployed assets which, if you manage things correctly, should move over to a new system quite smoothly. |

But still you can try ...not a good practice though...take the backup of the existing database and import them onto the newer DB and create same DSN settings.... |
