Hi,
We have an application that connects to a MQ Server. But the user is not in the MQM group so we get 2035 errors. I have put the domain user in the MQM group. But now I am thinking of how this could be activated. Do I have to stop start the Queue Manager for this change to happen ?
Thank you. |

echo "refresh security"|runmqsc <qmgr name>
or just go into runmqsc, get the prompt, and type "refresh security" |

The immediate answer is the MQSC "refresh security" command.
The secondary answer is NEVER, EVER add users (as distinct from administrators) to the mqm group. Define a new group for MQ access to the relevant application queues, and use setmqaut to grant appropriate, minimal rights to allow the application to do what is necessary. _________________ Cheers,
