Background:

In the course of troubleshooting an SSL-related error, it was decided to apply CSD14 to bring up the installation to a supported level (extended support has been purchased).

Prior to application of CSD14, the use of GSKit in GUI mode (via Exceed) was successful (all variables set and gsk6ikm & used).

SupportPac MA0C was stated as not installed or requiring removal prior to application of the CSD, and the server was restarted after application of the CSD.

Current:

GSKit (GUI mode) fails with: 'Failed to find VM aborting'

All directories/files/sym-links checked and appear correct, the same variables and command used.

java -version shows v1.4.2 and other java processes are successfully running.

Variables set (as mqm) were:

export DISPLAY=<IP Address>:<port>
export PATH=/usr/java14/bin:/usr/mqm/ssl/jre:$PATH
export JAVA_HOME=/usr/mqm/ssl/jre


AIX version is 5.1.0.0, and I do not know how long WMQ has been installed/configured.

I just know I am missing something obvious, but can't see the wood for the trees! Any pointers/help gratefully accepted...
