Hi friends
I am looking for any link or document which exactly give me the capacity management of MQ Solaris SPARC system. Where I can give exact estimation of Disk size, RAM, Swap space and suggest network size for client requirement. Based on his input...
Like No Queue Mangers, persistent and non persistent queues thought put and average message size, and application load on MQ. I could find every where performance evaluation guide. But not description thumb rules for capacity management.
Advance thanks for reply.
Regards

Why are you posting a question to this forum which clearly belongs in one of the support forums? Please give a little thought to which forum to use for your posts and also please don't post the same question to multiple fora. _________________ Cheers,

Have you looked at h/w & s/w requirements in "WebSphere MQ for Solaris Quick Beginnings" ?
Other than that, the capacity management would be very similar for other supported Unix platforms.
Disk & network capacity needs to be sized on the application message volume (throughput performance), UOW size (logs) and requirements for tolerance of MQ channel outages (size of xmitqs). _________________ Glenn |
