To amplify what Peter wrote...

...whether x86 or x64 presumably.

I don't understand your problem...

On the website linked above there is a section on the left hand site that says "System Requirements", clicking that takes you to this page:

http://www-01.ibm.com/software/integration/wmq/requirements/index.html

On that page, scroll down to "Linux for System x"

There are 2 columns, 1 for software and 1 for hardware. The section is split into two parts with "***" separating 32-bit and 64-bit.

The supported Linux distributions for 32-bit and 64-bit, and the required hardware are listed.

To use WebSphere MQ on Linux, you need to have one of the operating systems listed there, and appropriate hardware to run it.

Fedora 7 is not one of the Linux distributions that is supported.

Supported means tested by IBM and product defects fixed.

But other distributions should work. It depends whether you want to use it without official support.

You should be able to use MQ on Fedora 7, but as has been stated, there will be no support from IBM if there are problems. If you want to work with something nearer a supported configuration, then use CentOS v5. This is a version that is built from the Redhat Enterprise Linux 5 source code.
