I have to migrate / upgrade from MQ 5.x to MQ 6.x version. Already SSL is configured on the systems at Servers and Clients. I like to know what all the steps needed to do this change. Most importantly is Signer and other Certificates do need any change or shall we use the old certificates for the new version after upgrade? Please give me the step wise work for upgrade also.

Don't remember about one by one but IIRC the store formats may no longer be compatible in V6 or got corrupted with the upgrade. You might have to re-import your certs into new stores. I am sure if you surf the site you will find the relevant posts. I believe as well this was fixed by some of the later fix packs
