Hi, all,

Does anybody know how to replace/modify an existing code page converter?
I downloaded an source file *.ucm and compiled it.
My questions are how I can replace the existing converter *.cnv with the compiled *.cnv and when a broker loads code page converters(with mqsistart? maybe??)
BTW, I'd like to try it both on Windows and AIX.

Many thanks in advance,

Adding a new converter is OK because I can achieve this by issuing mqsichangebroker command with -c option.
But what about changing or replacing existing conerters?
Where is the location of existing ICU code page converters (*.cnv) in WMB V6.x on AIX/Win?
This is not documented in WMB manuals and ICU user guides.
I have completely no idea,,,

What's the requirement? Is there a defect in the built-in code page support in the product?

I just want to modify one of the existing ICU code page converters.
Now I'm assuming that there should be the location where default code page conveters (*.cnv) exist and by replacing one of them with the one modified, I can achieve my goal.
However, I can't find such a location. Where is it?

Of course. But why do you want to modify it, and in what way?

Well, now I'm trying to migrate message flows from MQSI V2.1 to WMB V6.1 and BIP2136E is our problem -> http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=849&context=SSKM8N&dc=DB520&dc=DB560&uid=swg21296565&loc=en_US&cs=UTF-8&lang=en&rss=ct849websphere

Since WMB V6.1 ICU 3.2 detects an invalid character, for example 0xfffd in unicode, and throws an exception which functioned in both V5 and V2.1, our message flows don't work any more like before.
In addition, my client doesn't want any changes both in existing message flows&MRMs and external applications.
These are our story...
