Hi All,
I am working on windows XP platform service pack 2. I am trying to install Message Broker 6.1 with following prerequisites.
MB Toolkit version :6.1, Broker Runtime version : 6.1, MQ version : 6.0, DB2 version : 9.5 server version.
I have installed MB toolkit, mq, db2 successfully. while trying to install broker runtime, problem is that , db2 client version present in broker runtime installation pack is 8.2 and installed db2 version is 9.5. So, while trying to install, both versions are not compatible.
Can anyone give me solution for this problem so that I can install broker runtime without uninstalling db2 9.5 server .

Hi mrgate,
You have DB2 Server installed, and you are installing the Broker runtime on the same system, right ? Why are you installing the client then ? You don't need to just because it's there...or have I missed something ?

| if u double click on messegebroker_runtime1 u will get the setup.exe is for only message broker Run time components, double click on it |
