Hello,
Not sure if this is the right forum, or maybe that matches better in the configuration forum, but I'll give it a try...
Anyway, I want to configure MQSeries on a Windows Server 2003 computer, so that I will be able to use JMS to connect it. I also have to do that for computers with Unix and Linux. What are the steps needed to accomplish that? Must I use any special products for it or is everything already supported by MQ?
Thanks. |

Everything is already supported by MQ.
Depending on what your J2EE environment is it will be setup differently.
See WebSphere Application Server and the JMS MQ resource setup in the Admin console...
If you want to play outside of the appserver field with JMS stand alone, (and it is used to setup initial context in non WAS environments), you should use JMSAdmin and the File context. Read up the using Java manual and the section about JMSAdmin. Remember that before you set something up in JMSAdmin you should have made sure it exists on the qmgr.
