MQ SERVER comes with licensing fee and client installation is free...
as i said you can have only client at you end and connect to the server or you can have a server at you end and connect locally (client is required here too)
if your firm has money then go for server else ... _________________ Cheers |

The Quick Beginnings manual for the Windows platform specifies what is required for a Client installation - and as it's Windows it's mostly click Next, click Next etc.

The Intercommunications manual will explain all, or if not all, mostly all.

If there is no WMQ experience within your Organisation/Group please suggest to your management that they get some, otherwise you are going to experience a lot of pain just setting up the infrastructure, and the chances are also that your application is not going to be coded according to best (WMQ) practices. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |
