Hi

I get the following error when i use AMQSPUT utility to send message from one QM to another QM.

"javax.jms.JMSException: MQJMS1046: The character set UTF8 is not supported"

However if i send the same message using windows MQ explorer from one QM to another QM , the message gets delivered successfully.I am using MQv6.

Please suggest.

UTF-8 is CCSID 1208.
You did not say what you used to do the put....

run in a UTF-8 OS environment as amqsputc and have a qmgr with CCSID 1208 if running as ampsput....
