Hi Group,

I have to design a system,where my one application will send message to MQ and on the successful reception of message MQ will send the ACK response.

I have to use only MQ Java API(No JMS).can some please provide more information on how to implement this? link to some src code/forum discussion.

I am not able to figure out how I can send back ACK to my application fro m MQ.

It's all in the manual. Looks at the options and in particular reporting options...

If you put a persistent message in MQ from your application and the call completes successfully, you can safely assume that MQ has accepted and queued the message and it won't be lost.

Did you want an acknowledgement that the other application had got the message off the queue? If so, see "Report messages" in chapter 1 of the MQ Application Programming Guide.
