Hi,

I have 6.1 Version Broker, With User exit running on the Broker.

we saw 2017 MQ Error in wmb.log file( MQRC_HANDLE_NOT_AVAILABLE) during Load Testing.

I could see one of our Transmission Queue "Open Output Count" was 1260, and when I saw the Status of it , the AppName connected to This was DataFlowEngine. The Max Handle of Queue Manager is 256.

The User exit is a trace which captures every input and Output message going in and out of broker and puts the message to a Remote Queue.

We have Message flows which has MQOutput Node putting message to remote queue.

Both Broker and user exit are putting messages on to different remote queue of same queue manager.

I am not sure whether the Output Count on Transmission queue is because of Broker MQOutput Node or Is it because of User Exit which is putting the message on Remote Queue. The Appname "DataflowEngine" on Status of XmitQ is misleading.

My Question is:
1) Does user exit on Broker Run as DataFlowEngine Process.
2) What is the optimum "Max Handle Count" for Broker Queue Manager on Production System.
