Hi,

i have a Problem with MQ / the MQ Explorer (V 6).

I created a new QMGR under MQ Linux (V 7). I also created the SYSTEM.ADMIN.SVRCONN Channel and a Listener.

I am able to "see" the QMGR in the Explorer but i cant create channels, Listeners and so on. I only see the QMGR. Its yellow (=available) but there is no "+" in front of it so i cant come to the menus where i can configure channels, listeners ....

Between my PC and the MQ Server is a firewall, but it is completly open.

Maye someone has a hint for me.

EDIT: i also created another QMGR under MQ (V6) and its shown normally in the MQ Explorer

Did you right click the Queue Manager and "connect"ed ?

there may be some prerequisites for having a V7 QueueManager on a V6 explorer...

you are right.

it was because of the MQ Explorer 6. With MQ Explorer 7 i can view the QMGRs on MQ6 and MQ7
