hi,
I am stuck with a problem hope you guys can help me out..
I am trying to parse a tag/delimited message whch would be something like this..
field1 | field2>>field3|field>>
here '>>' indictes a record end(database)
' | is field delimiter.
I have added the tag/delimiter layer and have given the "delimiter" value as" | ".
however i am not able to parse the ">>"(record level delimiter as the records are repeating .
My message set are "A" and "B"
"A" has 2 elements and "B" has two element..
they are
NAME
Location
so the input format for the compute node i am using is
name|location>>name2|location>>
the output format i need is
the same...
Please send me any step i have to take to do this.
Thanks in advance

I think you will have to define 4 compound types with delimiters of |,>>,|,>> respectively. You cannot use a group terminator of >> as MRM will expect the field delimiter first.
