Hello,
I have a small problem here. I have MQ (csd04) installed on a Solaris 8 box.
I have a C application that needs to MQCONNX and MQDISC often.
If that application is linked with libmqm.so, everything is fine.
If that application is linked with libmqic.so, it leaks badly.
I know that APARS IY24753 (included in csd04) is supposed to adress that situation, but obviously it did not for me.
Anyone knows if the fix is applied only on the server library (libmqm.so) and if I have to applied a different fix for the client (libmqic.so)?
Any other idea?
Note : I have tried to connect using the MQCD structure, with MQSERVER, MQCHLLIB and MQCHLTAB, all with the same result _________________ Daniel Lamond

Hello,
Thank's to IBM support for helping me with this one.
It appears that the problem was a Solaris 8 problem, testing with Solaris 6 and 7 with MQ CSD04 did not show any memory leak.
The latest patch cluster(17 July 2002) solve the problem. There is many patch in the cluster, we have installed the whole cluster.
The patch can be found at:
