I "received" a CA signed certificate, but there was a typo in the label field. So the label doesn't meet the convention of ibmwebspheremq<qmgr>.
Since I can't receive a certificate twice - the certificate request is already gone upon receiving the signed certificate, I can't correct the command any more.
To make it compliant, I extracted the certificate to a file, qmgr.cer, deleted the certificate from kdb, and add the certificate back to the kdb using the right label.
But channel wouldn't ping, got the following in the error file:
The channel QMA.QMB did not supply a certificate to use during SSL
handshaking, but a certificate is required by the remote queue manager. The channel did not start.
I not only refresh security, even restarted the qmgr, but no effect.
Can anyone please point out what I'm missing?

Did u use the key management tool to add the CA cert? and are u sure tht u have followed the steps correctly for adding the CA cert to ur server.. And hope u have backed up ur orignal cert.
PS: PM me if u need any documentation.. dont have the exact server and client enablement.. (mine is for a broker) _________________ *forgetting everything * |
