Hello,
I have installed MQ v6.0 on a Solaris server and selected the options below:
1) Server
2) Man pages
3) Sample Programs
4) Client
5) SDK
and then upgraded to v6.0.2.2.
Some time later, I attempted to install the Extended Transactional Client by selecting option 6) from the main installation menu.
When I look at the softare level now with dspmqver I see the softare level as 6.0.0.0:
Name: WebSphere MQ
Version: 6.0.0.0
CMVC level: p000-L050519
BuildType: IKAP - (Production)

Can someone explain what is the correct procedure for adding the extended tansactional client after v6 has been installed and the software level changed by fixes/patches?

Looks like you have to reapply the latest patch.
I would attempt that anyway as patches only get applied to existent components...
