So I upgrade v6 to v7 on z/OS. I g into the operatins and control panels and hit PF4 on the first screen. The drop down does not have TOPIC as an object type. If you go to the CONSTANTS manual it is there in MQOT. They added the pub/sub engine to zed is there a reason it is not there. I am pretty sure I have the TSO proc updted. I tried to access the v7 QMGR with the v6 panels (forgot to log off my session after updating the proc. DUH!!) and got a big message "I am going to do this BUT...!!!"

Does anyone else have v7 up on zed. Do you see the TOPIC object choise in the PF4 drop down?

We dint have any object called topic in V5.3.. when we hit PF4, not sure if anything was added iin V6/V7

In b5 v5.3 and v6 there was no Pu/Sub Broker. Now that the QMGR hasan integrated Pub/Sub Broker built in with v7 allkninds of new things have been added (ie API, etc). So now there is a new Object Type called Topic. sthe Pub/Sub Brker is new to z/OS I was expecting to see it in the drop down list. I am toooooo lazy to boot my VMWare image but I am pretty sure it is there under MQExplorer for v7.
