Hi All,
We have a SWIFT ALLIANCE (running on Windows 2000) server having Websphere MQ Client installed and configured to connect to a given MQ server. The environment variables MQSERVER and MQCHLTAB & MQCHLLIB are defined on the Windows box.
From the knowledge of MQ clients it looks like MQSERVER variable is dominant here. ie it overrides the TAB file variables.
The connection is working fine using the MQSERVER till now since we had only 1 queue manager to connect.
Now Client requires to connect to 2 queue managers on the same MQ server.
i.e Client connecting to 2 ports on the MQ server.
The Intercommunication and Clients manuals will give you plenty of information on which to build some more detailed questions.
Make sure to remove the MQSERVER variable when you change to using the Channel Table File. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys.
