Hi,

I have setup the MQ server and client in the same machine(windows platform).
i am trying to execute a sample C program to get and put messages in one of the queues.
I have also setup the server connection channel and client connection channel(having the same name).
The problem I am facing is that when the program is linked to mqm.Lib i am able to connect to any of the 3 queue managers I have set up. But if i link it with mqic32.Lib I am only able to connect to the default quque manager. I have also set up the env variable MQSERVER as was given in the manuals.

Please help. Thank you

Don't use the MQSERVER environment variable. It's inflexible.

Create a Client Channel Definition Table including all the queue managers.

Connect to the appropriate queue manager and the CCDT will supply the correct connection information (IP name, Port, Client channel name).
