ftfping is used to test whether the file transfer configuration is fine. So what does the ftfping option -lqm, -sqm, -dqm mean?.

Regards,

Mr. Google says...

-lqm is local queue manager

-dqm is destination queue manager

...but, didn't find what -sqm was.

ftfping –lqm LNIB01P1 -sqm LNIB01P1 -dqm SPAIXT19

Can the local and source queue manager be the same?

yes - really it's meant so that the request can originate from a system that really doesn't participate in the actual file movement.
