Hi there. As the subject suggests, I have problems with a new installation of WMB5 on a AIX machine. I'm moving a MQ/Broker environment from one server to another and has installed all products as it was installed and setup on the old machine. MQ and DB2 works fine, but when I start my new broker I get the following error:
Code: |
Jul 4 10:45:03 <HOSTNAME> user:info MQSIv500[921616]: (<BROKERNAME>.)[1]BIP7064S: Failed to create Java VM -1. : <BROKERNAME>.7ebde0e7-1a01-0000-0080-e6a6c6d832cb: /build/S000_P/src/JNI/ImbJVM.cpp: 546: ImbJVM::createJVM: :

The bipbroker process starts, but I can't contact the broker through the configuration manager as it shows up in the broker domain as Not started. When looking at the abend file it looks like the bithttplistener is the problem that causes the broker to not start. The environment and profiles are setup identically on both machines, and the Java RTE seems to work fine.
The only information on the BIP7064 error refers to Linux, where you should set the LD_ASSUME_KERNEL envvar when it occurs. I'm kind of stuck here, any suggestions?

Thank you very much, that worked like a charm! And yes, WMB5 is pretty old, but I'm a sucker for nostalgia. |
