Dear All,
I've to configure a queue depth alert in such a way that if the queue depth reaches a definite value it should shoot an email. We are currently using Candle. Could anyone explain how to configure Email mechanism for the alerts.
Thanks,
Kishu.. |

We've implemented this using the "Take Action" feature, which can be used at the situation or policy level. When an alert is raised, we run a job on MVS that sends the email alert to the list of persons associated with the application. We're moving to ITM 6.1, so we plan to run a unix script that pretty much does the same thing. |
