Hello,
Is it possible to handle MQSeries connection from the Queue Manager side in such a way that when some client tries to connect to a queue, the connection is allowed or denied based on the ipaddress/hostname or some parameters like that [not username] from where the client is trying to connect.

There is nothing built into MQ to do that but we have a product called MQ Standard Security Exit (MQSSX) that will do exactly that. (And MQAUSX will do UserId & Password authentication.)
There is a free but unsupported download called BlockIP2 that has some of the features of MQSSX.
