Hi
I have a requirement to write a java program to write to MQ & read messages from MQ. Can you please tell me if the following steps are right way to go about it :
1. Install MQ client 5.3 on my Solaris 8 Box
2. Verify the set up
3. Use sample programs to do PUTs, GETs & BROWSE
Also, where can I find sample programs to suit my need ? |

That is not quite right for 1. If you just install the client, where is the server? Unless you got a server somewhere, then you do 2, to get communication setup and configured for the client to connect to the server.
if not, then 1 should be Install WMQ Server v5.3 on my Solaris 8. |
