I want to setup a cluster using 3 different operating systems, but each OS has different usernames for MQ, aside from the fact that musr_mqadmin can't be created on all platforms because the username is too long. I guess here is where you use setid or something. I can create the cluster and connect the qmgrs but using the mq explorer I can't do administration because my windows use is not matching the other machine's user. How can I fix that ?

no but that is when I add the servers manually to my explorer, and that's not what I want here.

When you have one qmgr that is part of a cluster then the cluster section in the mq explorer shows up, and from there you should navigate between the qmgrs of that cluster, that's what I want to be able to do(between different usernames, etc.)

For this you need to be connected to at least one full repository IIRC
