It depends on your architecture, how your system is designed. If your architect decides to use WMB as an ESB to make the calls then use broker flows otherwise use adaptor.
If you have already purchased/using WMB and didn't have adaptor, I prefer using broker to achieve the goal. If I were you I would talk to the architect first.

I assume that you are using Broker as an ESB.
try to avoid the adapters as much as possible because if you consider the maintenance wise Broker is easy to maintain compared to JDBC adapter.
if it is an Adapter you need the Adapter framework to be installed on the same server...e.t.c...We had tough time with adapters and implemented everything in Broker....Offcourse Broker is the Powerful ESB in the market.

Yes . We are planning to use it as ESB.Till now we do not have any adapters.
I am being asked on if we can achieve without the adapter and if so a call from esql to these stored procs by passing xml string would do the job or not?
So if it is how I have to approach then let me know or if there is some other way of acheiving it..please put your thoughts here.
