Hi All

I am having a serious problem which is stated below. Plz give me the
solution for the same.

1) My MQSeries 5.2 is running on Windows2000 machine. When i make a
local(Server) connection to the Queue manger, i am getting the MQ
rror( both 'amqsget' and 'amqsput' fails with the Error Code "MQCONN ended with reason code 2059" though my Queue Manager and Listener is running well. But if i make a client connection by setting up client environments in the same machine and try connecting to the Queue manager it works fine(Can access all the MQ Objects). Why i couldn't make a local connection to the Queue Manager?. Please let me know.

Also, When I log into the machine via terminal services, and use the
MQSeries explorer, I can see my queue manager, but no queues under it. If I use the "connect" option, the explorer returns an error message that "Queue Manager not available for connection... (AMQ4043)". But if i make a remote connection option(Show Remote Queue Manager) using MQSeries explorer, the Queue Manager and their objects are shown well. Why this problem occurs?. Please let me know.

Thanx & Regards

Answer
1) Did you configure the queue manager as default ???
Try amqsput QUEUE_NAME QMGR_NAME (if this works you havent
set the qmgr as default.

2) I have read post's here that there are issues with terminal services and
not to use them, you might want to search/read them

The listener doesnt have to be running for a MQServer Application just
the clients or server-server communications.

did you try the amqsput/amqsget with QUEUE_NAME QMGR_NAME ???

Jeff,
I found out that this problem occur because of Terminal Service 5.0 which we are using currently. But i heard from someone that Terminal Service 5.3 supports the shared memory feature in a convenient way. Do u have any idea about that?.
