I configure an MQ cluster with two repository queue managers on Linux servers. This worked quite well. However, I decided to change the conname attributes on the channels to some alternative values. With these new connames values the channels stopped running and the target servers could not be reached with the new values.
I then change the conname attributes back to the initial values that worked before. When I do a "display channel(*) all" , it shows that the channels are now set to the previous connames. However, the channel are not able to come on as they are still using the alternative values which don't work.
How do I get the channels to dump these values and start using the values set on the channels? I am loathe to re-start the queue managers as these support production messages flows.
