hi all,
I am new to this forum.
Could you please let me know which is the essential MQ component for distributed systems messaging?
I know the components as MQ Server,Channel,Cluster,QLocal,QRemote
But, I want to know the essential component.

A very odd question; what do you think the essential component of DB2 or Oracle is - a table, column, index, view, stored procedure or something else?
To try to answer your question as asked, I'd say that a Queue Manager is the essential component. Without that, you can't have anything else.
As AkankshA says, read the ICM. You could also try reading the WMQv6 Fundamentals at http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/abstracts/sg247128.html?Open and the older MQSeries Primer at http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/abstracts/redp0021.html?Open

The first few chapters of WMQ Intercommunications manual will give you a good basic understanding of distributed queuing.
