Hi,

When i try to stop the QManager the following process is not stopping or taking too long time.

Quote:

/usr/mqm/bin/amqrmppa -m QMgr1

When i try to kill the process i am getting 'Channel 'SYSTEM.BKR.CONFIG' terminated unexpectedly' error.

How can we avoid this?

One of the earlier versions of MQ 6.0 had a bug with amqrmppas taking forever to end. I talked about it on this board - do a search to see what was the bad version(s).

Otherwise you do have to kill the amqrmppas and yes, you will get those channel error messages.
