Hi,

There are some user-defined (java) nodes that have been compiled with jdk 1.5. During deployment of the bar file containing these nodes, I get a version mismatch error since Message Broker v6 uses jre v1.4.2 by default. If I change the jre version to 1.5 (on UNIX production environment by copying mqsijava15.sh to /var/mqsi/common/profiles), what would the impact be on the message flow nodes that would've been developed earlier with jre v1.4?? Has anyone tried testing this scenario?

As with running any backlevel classes on a newer JVM, the bytecodes should be compatible - but you'll need a testing cycle to make sure.
