Hi,
I'm having trouble with Informatica connecting to a remote queue manager via the AMQCLCHL.tab file. I've copied the AMQCLCHL.tab file from the remote queue manager onto the Informatica host. I've setup the Informatica env variables as follows:
MQCHLTAB=AMQCLCHL.TAB
MQCHLLIB=/tmp/
(The .tab file is in the /tmp/ directory).
However, I'm getting an MQRC 2058 queue manager name error error.
The permissions on teh .tab file is informatica.informatica rw-r-r.
Any thoughts? Thanks a bunch!

Is the CLNTCONN channel for the queue manager you're trying to use actually in the AMQCLCHL.TAB file?
Is the CLNTCONN definition correct (qmgr name, DNS/IP, port)?
Did you use binary file transfer to get the file copied from one machine to the other?
(Hint: all three answers should be yes) |

Informatica and MQ are on Linux hosts.
Yes, the CLNTCONN channel is in the AMQCLCHL.tab file.
I've just added the queue manager name to the clntconn definition and it worked.
The file was copied from the remote queue manager to the Informatica host via scp.
