Included as part of the IH03 support pack are a couple of tools: mqcapture and mqcapone. Very useful both!
However as always, one is never (quite) satisfied.
I think it would be very helpful if these could provide the option to do a get *with* convert as standard.
I realise that if the message is and RFH2 followed by MQFMT_NONE, then I'll get a "not converted" error, but for the cases where there's string data following that's in (e.g. CCSID 037 or 500) then being able to extract that in the local QM ccsid would be mighty helpful on occasion.
Jim MacNair are you there? _________________ Cheers,

RFHUtil(c) allows you to specify get with convert...
Check all the option checkboxes ... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Yes I have looked at your Visual Edit, but this was looking for a scriptable command line tool. _________________ Cheers,

Scriptable command line tool... hmm.... I usually end up writing my own little JMS utilities...
