Hi all!
Im setting up an WMB 6 enviroment..
Im running SuseLinux on 2 machines with ServiceGuard HA cluster.
So far i created one ServiceGuard package(including WMB,WMQ etc) for my active broker and a second package that is giong to be a warm-standby broker.
Im going to use MC91 suppPack creating Qmanagers etc.
Now comes my question.
The 2 seperate /MQHA filesystems for each Qmanager i having on SAN discs.
Now think that the two brokers with qmanagers maybe has to run on the same machine if the other machine is down for service or something(still one active "package" and one standby "package").
What about my /var/mqm and /var/mqsi should the be on SAN aswell? In purpose the separate the brokers with containing "data" directorys?
If not the will the brokers read/write in the same /var/mqm /var/mqsi and the data will be corrupt??

Not if you set it up right.
For HA setup not your entire /var/mqm will be on shared. Only the QMGR stuff, for example /var/mqm/logs/<QMGRNAME>/active will be on SAN which will fail over if the box goes down. Similarly anything under /var/mqm/qmgrs/<QMGRNAME>.
For the files like /var/mqm/mqs.ini, you have to manually add the entries of both the QMGRs on both the boxes. Ofcourse there are scripts with the support pack to do that.
