I am quite new to MQ and I am trying to connect to MQ queue manager through bindings.
Can some one clear the concept how .bindings file is created on client i.e in my host machine..!
A bindings connection has nothing to do with the .bindings file.
Bindings connection is for a (server) connection through shared memory and the client needs to be on the same machine as the server.
The .bindings file is created with JMSAdmin and the filesystem JNDI provider. It is neutral as to the connection to the qmgr which is defined in the JMSAdmin parameters. It can be a server connection or a client connection.
