We recently installed Omegamon Tivoli monitor on our z/Linux machines. I was asked to include the Candle Monitor Node in the Message flow to capture the flow stats. But I could not find this node in the Node Palette. How do I get the Candle Monitor Node in the palette? Can someone guide me in configuring it in the message flow?

You need to add the node to the toolkit. There should be some documentation on how to do this in your Tivoli installation manuals.
Same thing for the broker (mostly symlinks)

Enjoy

Thank you for your reply.

As per documentation, i need to run the kqicm600.exe under C:/IBM/ITM/TMAITM6 to get this node. But i dont have that directory on windows system as i dont have Tivoli installed. We only have it in our z/Linux box which is our run-time env. So, to get this node will i need to install ITM on my windows machine as well? Or can i get the kqicm600.exe file and will it help?

That's a question for the Tivoli forum. Running the broker on zLinux, where will you run your TEMS and TEPS? (Tivoli Enterprise Management Server and Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server).

My gut feeling is that if you can extract the file and run it, it will put the plug in into the toolkit's directory. Don't forget to restart the toolkit with the -clean option.

Enjoy
