I need to create application log file for tracing transaction processed by MB flows.
Each transaction generates XML log message and send to logger queue. Single flow handles log messages and writes to log file using trace node.
Problem: file name is fixed, I need to "close" it periodically - daily.
I will happy to use File Output node, but unfortunatelly it doesn't suports "append".
Any sugestion?

why cant you think of using JCN which uses log4j to do so.
It is also possible..

FileOutput does support Append.
Use TimeoutNotification to close the file.

I can set daily TimeoutNotification, but what is the way to access file?
I also tried setting ${Environment.Variables.Logname} in File path of Trace node... doesn't work...
