Hi Guys,
I created some objects, queues, channels etc. with a userID(network id) which is part of mqm group. After few days if that userid is invalid, does it affect the objects in anyway in functioning?.

I don't think so. Unix uses the grp identifier to grant permissions. And you sure did not delete mqm group or your qmgr would no longer be working...

No, the creator userid (or group) is not stored as part of the object attributes. The only trails in the object are the creation date & time and the last alteration date & time (CRDATE / CRTIME / ALTDATE / ALTTIME ). _________________ Glenn |
