Env :
MQ : 6.0.2.3
DB2 : 8.1.1.144
MB : 6.0.0.1
AIX : 5.2.9

I delete the configmgr using
mqsideleteconfigmgr CONFIGMGR -w -n

Then I did mqsilist and I am still seeing the configmgr
$ mqsilist
BIP8099I: ConfigMgr: configmgr - CONFIGMGR

If I do a start or stop then I am getting the following
$ mqsistart CONFIGMGR
BIP8013E: Component does not exist.
A component may only be used if it has first been created.
No user action required.

Any clues about whats happening.
Any help is appreciated.

Is your Config Manager uppercase or lower case? The output from your mqsilist command shows it as lower case but you entered the delete command using upper case.
On Linux/UNIX platforms, component names are case sensitive (see http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wmbhelp/v6r1m0/topic/com.ibm.etools.mft.doc/an07070_.htm)

The delete command might have got confused by the case sensitivity. To clear up, you might need to edit /var/mqsi/registry to remove the CM definition.
