Hi all,
I needed an advice and product suggestion. We have a senario where we should query a SQL database when a update is done to a particular table and create a XML message and drop it on the MQ queue. (WebSphere Message broker can do that but I need something cheaper). Heard about oracle gateway but was not sure if it can do the job.Can anybody suggest..

Thanks in advance

Check out the append in:

about different licensing for the broker. The starter mode may be what you need.

Depending on the database, you could use a trigger, some databases allow triggers to be set on database tables that run an external application. This external app can then do anything you like.
