The Windows service should be starting as the Local System id. If it isn't, change it as you'd change anything else.
AFAIK you can't log on with that id, so you can't start the queue manager with it (because you can't log onto the desktop and get a command prompt). Not entirely sure why you'd want to really; you can get the same effect by having the queue manager autostart.
As you're using v6 (because everything earlier is out of support) define the listener as an object under the queue manager and place it under the queue manager's control. Then it will start (and stop) when the queue manager does.
It's all in the Windows manual, apart from the listener syntax which is in the command reference.

we are using MQ5.3, if i login as my id and starting the qmgr, then
qmgr and Listener are starting with my id. when i logout the qmgr and listener's are going down. |

Functioning as designed for Windoze.
Change the service setting to autostart the queue manager using the Explorer or the amqdian command. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
